Man of the Week excerpts

I'm posting these excerpts to show why
Hayden was voted Man Of the Week.

My reason would be that he really caught
my attention in The Attack of The
Clones-with his wonderful and dreamy acting.

Given the task of portraying Anakin Skywalker (a.k.a Darth Vader) in Star Wars: Episode II and Episode III of the second leg of George Lucas' uber-famous sci-fi series, Hayden Christensen has emerged from obscurity to become one of the hottest young actors in Hollywood. Time will tell if he can escape the Star Wars shadow once the series is done, but if work in Shattered Glass and Life as a House are any indication, he should do just fine.

To the delight of Star Wars devotees and movie buffs in general, Hayden Christensen has arrived on the scene. Critics were quick to point out what was lacking in his first blockbuster, Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones, but Christensen himself certainly was not to blame. In fact, his twisted, tortured take on the character of Anakin Skywalker was highly lauded by such experienced costars as Natalie Portman and Samuel L. Jackson.

Hayden on E4

Hayden was featured on a programme by E4, last night,
about the premiere of Revenge Of the Sith in London.
He answered questions in the rain about his experience
of the Star Wars movies, while fans were shouting "Hayden,
Hayden" in the background. He seemed sweet and
very polite to Edith Bowman who interviewed him.

There's news from The Sun that Hayden is saying he
wants to quit movies and take up architecture!
Hopefully he's just sick and tired of the Star Wars
press promotions.
